Need IT Support Engineer Level 1 in Manitowoc, WI 54220 US

Work Schedule/Shift: Required Engineer for 2 days a week i.e every Monday & Wednesday, full day.

IT support specialists need a firm understanding of computer systems to help others—either employees or customers—navigate any potential issues that arise. Part of that work may entail performing routine maintenance on infrastructure, including hardware and software.

Responsibilities:

Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners

Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks

Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests

Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)

Setting up accounts for new users

Troubleshoot common computer errors

Assist an organization's computer and network users with technology issues

Complete repairs on a system, network, computer, or other technology

Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on computers, networks, and other technology

Install new hardware, software, and other technology

Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary

Testing new technology

Conduct regular tests

Document support inquiries and their resolutions

Answer technology questions via phone, email, or chat

Refer requests to relevant IT professionals when necessary

L1 Backfill Engineer required every Monday & Wednesday, full day for 6 months.

Rate: 40/hour

Engagement terms:

• Work Location: 6311 W Custer Street Manitowoc, WI 54220 US
• Hourly rate: $40/hr. on 1099 basis.

· Candidates should require having a Professional and general liability insurance that is typical of an independent contractor for 1099. It is quite cheap and easy to get this insurance.

• Duration: 6 months

· Work Schedule/Shift: Required Engineer for 2 days a week i.e every Monday & Wednesday, full day.

• Interview Process – A short interview will be scheduled for about 5 minutes with the IT team and start date will be decided.
• Must pass standard background investigation & drug screening.
