Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure SAS 9.4M8 in AWS
- Migrate SAS metadata, users, libraries, datasets, and file system content
- Consolidate three on-prem SAS tiers into a new AWS-hosted environment
- Apply hotfixes, perform validation, and support UAT activities
- Configure SAS/Access, metadata libraries, scheduling, HTTPS, and security requirements
- Troubleshoot migration issues and provide documentation and knowledge transfer
Required Skills:
- 3–5+ years of SAS Administration / SAS Platform Engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with SAS 9.4 installation, configuration, and migration
- Strong knowledge of SAS Metadata Server, Enterprise Guide, and SAS platform components
- Experience with Linux (RHEL) and Windows environments
- Exposure to AWS infrastructure and cloud migrations
- Ability to support security, compliance, and production deployments
