🔐 Position Overview

Seeking a Data Encryption Specialist / Oracle Database Security Engineer to support database security, encryption, high availability, disaster recovery, and enterprise database operations.
\n
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Develop and implement Oracle database encryption strategies in accordance with City requirements.
- Architect and implement Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and Oracle Key Vault (OKV) solutions.
- Test and implement TDE in High Availability and Disaster Recovery (MAA) environments.
- Design encryption strategies for Production, Pre-Production, and Development databases.
- Implement end-to-end Oracle Key Vault functionality.
- Design, report, test, and implement Oracle Enterprise Manager (Cloud Control) 13.4.
- Plan and implement database backup, restore, and recovery strategies.
- Tune database systems for optimal performance across multiple applications.
- Install and configure HA & Disaster Recovery-enabled Oracle databases.
- Design and execute database management plans.
- Develop and manage high-level roadmaps aligned with ITS strategy and business requirements.
- Partner with business stakeholders to develop business cases and value plans.
- Drive deliverables through conception, implementation, and production.
- Develop operational support plans to ensure service reliability and availability.
