ROLE: Senior Security Operations & Threat Hunting Lead

Duration: 2 month initial contract.

Hybrid role with occasional onsite visits to Washington DC. We will pay all travel expenses.

Job Description
\n
We are seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to provide technical leadership across security operations, incident response, threat hunting, and security architecture. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to both customer and consulting teams, helping manage security incidents, improve detection capabilities, and guide strategic security initiatives.

- Services will include periodic on-site support in Washington DC, when mutually agreed

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Lead security incident triage, investigation, and response efforts
- Oversee proactive threat hunting activities and detection improvements
- Provide architectural guidance across security technologies and programs
- Coordinate with customer stakeholders, security teams, and external partners
- Drive operational improvements, playbooks, and security best practices
- Present technical findings and recommendations to both technical and executive audiences

Required Experience
\n

- 7+ years in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, or Security Engineering
- Experience leading enterprise SOC operations and managing complex security incidents
- Strong technical and architectural leadership skills
- Ability to bridge strategic discussions with hands-on technical execution
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
