We’re hiring a hands-on Residential Maintenance Technician to help keep our apartment community running smoothly! If you have experience in apartment maintenance, property maintenance, or residential repairs and take pride in providing great customer service, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
- Complete resident work orders and service requests promptly and professionally.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and household appliances.
- Handle general repairs, including carpentry, painting, drywall, plaster, cabinetry, tile, carpet, flooring, and door locks.
- Complete apartment turns and make-ready maintenance to prepare vacant homes for new residents.
- Inspect vacant apartments, complete make-ready checklists, and oversee vendor work.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on building systems and mechanical equipment, including filters, belts, bearings, seals, and fluid levels.
- Repair or replace electrical wiring, switches, equipment, and control circuits.
- Maintain waste chutes, compactors, and refrigeration equipment.
- Keep buildings, common areas, and grounds clean and well-maintained, including snow removal as needed.
- Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls during your assigned on-call rotation.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a similar role.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, appliance repair, carpentry, painting, and preventive maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to prioritize work orders.
- A friendly, approachable attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Good time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Own basic tools and knowledge of safe tool use and care.
