Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid, 3 days/week)
Experience: 6+ years BI/Analytics | 3+ years people leadership
Tech: SQL, Power BI
Salary: $122K–$185K
Reports to: Director, BI & Revenue Analytics
About the Role
A thriving LegalTech is seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence & Revenue Analytics to define how data drives decisions across the business AND MAKE BUSINESS RECOMMENDATIONS THAT DRIVE REVENUE GROWTH from Data Analysis. This is a hands-on leader who sits at the intersection of data, commercial strategy, and team development. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Product, and Executive Leadership.
Responsibilities:
Revenue & Sales Analytics
- Deliver reporting, forecasting, and performance insights that support pipeline health, product adoption, and revenue growth.
- Identify patterns in churn, customer behavior, and pipeline risk to surface actionable opportunities.
- Present insights to sales leadership
Marketing Analytics
- Analyze campaign performance, attribution, segmentation, and ROI.
- Build reporting that helps marketing understand what is working and where to invest.
KPI Reporting & Dashboards
- Build and maintain KPI frameworks and executive dashboards across sales, marketing, and operations.
- Flag trends, anomalies, and risks proactively to support leadership decision-making.
Data Collaboration & Systems
- Partner with Data Engineering to define requirements, influence data models, and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Maintain core business logic (revenue metrics, segmentation, product usage).
- Establish data governance, validation, and quality standards.
- Enable self-service analytics and promote data literacy across teams.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Collaborate directly with cross functional leaders to gather requirements and deliver insights that drive measurable outcomes.
- Translate business questions into analytical solutions and strategic recommendations.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small BI/analytics team.
- Own intake, prioritization, and delivery of analytics initiatives.
- Set standards for analytical rigor, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Remain a hands-on contributor on key analyses.
Requirements
- 6+ years in BI, analytics, revenue operations, or similar roles.
- 3+ years of leadership while remaining hands on.
- Strong SQL and Power BI skills; understanding of data modeling, warehousing, ETL, and BI architecture.
- Experience in B2B SaaS and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Proven ability to influence commercial strategy through data storytelling.
- Experience with pipeline analysis, product adoption metrics, and customer segmentation.
- Excellent communication and cross functional partnership skills.
