Job DescriptionA well-established residential apartment community is seeking a dependable and motivated Groundskeeper to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall curb appeal of a large multifamily property. This position works alongside a three-person grounds team to ensure residents enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across a beautifully maintained 95-acre community consisting of 63 buildings and numerous recreational amenities.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a golf cart throughout the property to complete daily assignments
- Pick up trash and debris throughout the community, including common areas and playgrounds
- Empty trash receptacles and assist with compactor disposal (property utilizes valet trash service)
- Maintain the cleanliness of sidewalks, breezeways, parking areas, amenity spaces, and other common areas
- Assist in keeping community amenities clean and presentable, including multiple swimming pools, fitness center, volleyball court, pickleball/tennis court, and other resident gathering areas
- Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns to management and/or maintenance team
- Work efficiently with the grounds team while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- Follow all company safety procedures and property standards
Please Note: This position does not include lawn care or landscaping duties.Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous groundskeeping, janitorial, maintenance support, or general labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
- Ability to safely operate a golf cart
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods throughout the workday
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean community

The base pay for this position is $14.50 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
