Job DescriptionNOW HIRING – FACILITIES SERVICE TECHNICIAN (Porter)
Adecco is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Facilities Service Technician for a temp-to-perm opportunity with an optical manufacturing company in Farmingdale, NY.
This is more than a traditional porter position. In this role, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility, including production and technical work areas where attention to detail and maintaining a professional environment are important.
Pay: $19–$21/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Location: Farmingdale, NY
Type: Temp-to-Perm
Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain production, manufacturing, and technical work areas

Maintain offices, common areas, restrooms, and break rooms

Vacuum, sweep, mop, and operate floor-cleaning equipment

Handle trash and waste removal throughout the facility

Restock cleaning and facility supplies

Help maintain exterior areas and facility grounds
-
Assist with minor repairs and general facility upkeep

Help ensure work areas remain clean, orderly, and ready for daily operations
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Dependable with strong attention to detail

Ability to read and follow instructions
-
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
