SUMMARY
We are currently seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Janitor. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, and willing to complete non-routine cleaning and special projects as needed. The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, the kitchen and dining areas, and other public spaces.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• None

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform general cleaning of all areas of the building
• Maintain general upkeep of exterior areas and the parking lot
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to job orders
• Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
• Respond to emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Collect and dispose of trash, clean windows and glass partitions, and maintain stock levels in janitorial closets
• Maintain floors, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• 1–2 years of experience preferred
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Constant standing/walking for at least 8 hours
• Prolonged periods of repetitive movement
• Frequent holding, grasping, turning, or working with the hands
• Occasional ascending and descending of stairs/ramps
• Pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, stooping, or carrying a minimum of 10 lbs
• Constant reaching overhead, at shoulder level, and below shoulder level

ITAR REQUIREMENTS
• To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, certain positions may require applicants to be: (i) a U.S. citizen or national; (ii) a U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder); (iii) a Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157; or (iv) an Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158; or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
