Highlights of the Porter:

  • A minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, or senior living (preferred)
  • Must be able to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach and carry, stand for extended periods of time and may be required to move furniture.
  • Maintain the inside of the building, offices, and common areas, including carpet and furniture cleaning, window cleaning, removal of trash, and upkeep of vinyl floors as assigned
  • Maintain the grounds, including outside building repair and garbage removal as assigned
  • Prepare apartments for move-in and complete refurbishing of units after move-out as assigned
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, entryways, and public restrooms throughout the community
  • Empty trash receptacles and remove waste from designated areas on a regular schedule
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors, carpets, and entry mats throughout the day
  • Monitor and restock supplies in common area restrooms and stations
  • Respond promptly to spills, messes, or cleanliness concerns as they arise throughout the day
