\nThe selected applicant will apply knowledge of and experience with engineering principles and techniques to develop and resolve moderately complex technical issues associated with US Navy communications systems and networks including software defined transceivers and amplification devices. The applicant will create and analyze moderately complex engineering documentation and work with new and existing equipment currently deployed aboard US Navy ships.\n

\nThis position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. \n
\n
\nThere is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.\n

Required Education, Experience, & Skills \n
\nHigh School diploma and 4 years of related post degree experience\n
\nUnderstanding of communications theory of operation and digital networks\n
\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n
\nAbility to work well in a team environment or independently\n
\nAbility to be self motivated\n
\nAutoCAD and Inventor experience\n
\n
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills \n
\nMilitary or shipboard electronics operational experience\n
\n
Pay Information\n
\nFull-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921\n
\n
\nPlease note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. \n
