The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, appearance, and operational readiness of the organization's facilities and grounds. This position performs preventative maintenance, routine repairs, equipment inspections, and general building maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
The Maintenance Technician may support multiple behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment facilities by responding to maintenance requests, coordinating repairs, maintaining regulatory compliance, and assisting with facility improvement projects. This role works collaboratively with facility leadership and vendors to minimize operational disruptions and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical training, trade school, or vocational certification in building maintenance or a skilled trade preferred.
- Minimum of two years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience required.
- Valid Drivers License required.
