Duration: 12-month contract

About the Role

\n

We're hiring a Senior Systems Engineer for a client in a regulated product development environment. You'll lead system-level engineering across the product lifecycle, from concept through launch and sustaining. You'll turn customer and stakeholder needs into testable, traceable requirements, manage technical risk, and own verification and validation.

What You'll Do

\n

    \n
  • Lead system-level engineering activities from concept through launch and sustaining
  • \n

  • Develop, manage, and trace requirements across hardware, software, and integrated systems
  • \n

  • Plan and document risk assessments, hazard analyses, and design reviews
  • \n

  • Lead system integration planning and resolve system-level issues
  • \n

  • Own V&V strategy, planning, execution oversight, and traceability
  • \n

  • Drive reliability planning and data-driven quality improvements
  • \n

  • Work across Reliability, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Clinical, and Operations teams
  • \n

  • Investigate complex system behavior and product performance issues
  • \n

  • Mentor junior engineers and apply Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methods
  • \n

What You Bring

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field (postgraduate preferred)
  • \n

  • 3 to 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • \n

  • Experience leading systems engineering for complex products or integrated systems
  • \n

  • Hands-on requirements development, management, and traceability
  • \n

  • System-level verification and validation planning and execution
  • \n

  • Risk management experience, including FMEA and hazard analysis
  • \n

  • Strong technical writing and cross-functional communication
  • \n

  • Requirements management tools and MBSE concepts
