Maintenance Technician / Porter
Tallahassee, FL
Certified Apartment Staffing is hiring Maintenance Technicians and Porters for apartment communities in the Tallahassee area! If you're dependable, hardworking, and ready to get to work, we'd love to hear from you.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders and general maintenance repairs
- Perform apartment turns and make-ready duties
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry as needed
- Maintain the property's appearance and safety standards
- Work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
- EPA certification is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors when needed
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Porter Responsibilities:
- Keep the community clean and well-maintained
- Pick up trash and debris throughout the property
- Clean common areas, breezeways, and amenities
- Assist the maintenance team with apartment turns and other duties
- Perform general groundskeeping tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous porter or groundskeeping experience is preferred
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Team player with a great attitude
