Start date is ASAP for this 12-month contract position.Job Title: Senior IT Project ManagerLocation-Type: Hybrid, 3 days onsite - Boston, MAStart Date: ASAPDuration: Contract, 12 monthsCompensation Range: $69/hr - $97/hrBenefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401KVisa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorshipJob Description:The client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of large-scale, complex technology initiatives that support the organization's strategic priorities across cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups.Job Summary•Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple large-scale IT projects across departments, including CRM, ERP, infrastructure, data integration, and cloud initiatives•Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, business units, and executive sponsors, translating strategic goals into actionable project plans•Facilitate standups, steering committees, and status meetings to keep cross-functional teams and external vendors aligned on scope, ownership, and progress•Build and maintain detailed project plans in tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or Jira, tracking milestones, dependencies, scope, and budget in real time•Conduct proactive risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies, navigating ambiguity as priorities shift•Present project health, risks, and financial performance to governance groups and senior leadership•Manage project budgets end-to-end, identifying cost-saving opportunities and maintaining full financial accountability•Lead post-project evaluations, document lessons learned, and apply insights to improve future project planningMinimum Requirements:•8-10 years of progressive IT project management experience managing large, complex, cross-functional initiatives in matrixed organizations•Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-level technology projects such as CRM, ERP, infrastructure, data integration, or cloud-based systems•Minimum 5 years engaging with business units, technical teams, and executive stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable project plans•Expert-level knowledge of project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches•Proficiency with PM tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or Jira•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications:•PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certification(s)•Track record of using data-driven insights to guide project planning and risk management•Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies and how enterprises are applying them to drive digital transformation•Demonstrated relationship-building and conflict-resolution skills across diverse stakeholder groups
