Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
- Perform security checks of buildings, parking lots, and other areas to ensure safety.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing assistance as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and visitors.
- Document and report any incidents, suspicious activities, or breaches in security.
- Enforce client policies and regulations to maintain a secure environment.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance security skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training is a plus.
- Previous experience in security preferred not required.
- Valid state-issued security guard license or ability to obtain one.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
