About the role
Keep a fast-moving metal processing operation running at peak performance. As our Electromechanical Maintenance Specialist, you’ll tackle complex diagnostics, restore uptime quickly, and strengthen the reliability of production assets that keep our facility humming.
A day in the life
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment and production machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults to drive swift, safe resolutions.
- Inspect, test, and verify equipment for safe, efficient operation.
- Collaborate with peers to boost reliability, performance, and throughput.
- Record all maintenance actions, inspections, and parts used with accuracy.
- Assist with installing and commissioning new machines and systems.
- Uphold safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Participate in ongoing training to expand skills in electromechanical systems.
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree/certification in a related discipline is preferred.
- Hands-on experience as an Electromechanical Technician or similar industrial maintenance role.
- Solid grasp of electrical and mechanical systems and how they interact.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Welding experience preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Sharp problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and teamwork-focused communication.
