Job DescriptionTitle: Maintenance Technician IILocation: Alsip, IL Hire Type: Direct HireShift: 3rd Shift | Sunday Night – Friday Morning | 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Up to 5 hours of overtime per week)Compensation: $35.00–$37.00/hourBenefits: Benefits packet.
Must Have Skill Set:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting experience
- Ability to troubleshoot, edit, and maintain Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLCs (no programming required)
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Preventive maintenance and equipment repair experience
- Manufacturing experience required (no facilities, commercial, or residential maintenance backgrounds)

Job Duties:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled production equipment.
- Maintain and edit Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC programs for troubleshooting and equipment support (no programming required).
- Perform preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, overhauls, and installations.
- Diagnose equipment failures and work closely with production to minimize downtime.
- Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs using a CMMS.
- Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely while following all safety, GMP, and quality procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLCs; programming experience is not required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and controls systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and industrial production equipment.
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn, develop new skills, and grow within the organization.
- Ability to work independently on 3rd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- No facilities, commercial, or residential maintenance experience will be considered—manufacturing maintenance experience is required.
