This role focuses on transforming residential properties into modern, comfortable, and livable spaces by performing upgrades, repairs, and cosmetic improvements on both interiors and exteriors.
Responsibilities
- Execute interior and exterior renovations across assigned residential properties.
- Install and repair drywall, flooring, doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, and trim to a high standard of quality.
- Assist with painting, plumbing, and light electrical tasks as part of renovation and upgrade projects.
- Troubleshoot structural, mechanical, and systems issues that arise during remodels and renovations.
- Support HVAC, air conditioning, and appliance repair tasks as needed to ensure units are fully functional.
- Perform basic carpentry, drainage, and general residential construction tasks to complete remodels.
- Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines, quality expectations, and budget requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site, following all safety guidelines and best practices.
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials required for renovation projects.
- Document work performed accurately and communicate daily progress and issues to the project team.
- Provide occasional support with routine property maintenance when needed.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role within residential construction or property renovation.
- Hands-on electrical skills sufficient for light electrical tasks and minor repairs.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for structural, mechanical, and system issues.
- Practical plumbing experience for basic repairs and installation support.
- Carpentry skills, including framing, trim work, and general wood repairs.
- Drywall installation and repair skills, including taping, mudding, and finishing.
- Experience with flooring installation and repair across common residential materials.
- Ability to perform painting tasks for interior and exterior surfaces.
- Knowledge of HVAC and air conditioning systems sufficient to support basic repair and service tasks.
- Experience with appliance repair in residential settings.
- Familiarity with residential construction practices and renovation techniques.
- Ability to read instructions, follow project plans, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Effective communication skills for daily progress updates and coordination with project managers.

Work Environment

Hours are flexible, allowing some adjustment to support childcare and personal needs. On-call work is not mandatory; those who choose to hold the on-call phone receive a bonus and are paid when deployed. The environment is hands-on, fast-paced, and safety-focused, requiring consistent attention to safe practices and an organized, professional approach on site.

This is a Permanent position based out of Harrisburg, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
