About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of facility equipment and systems across various locations in the United States. This position is responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate closely with facility management and other team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and implement preventive maintenance programs. By proactively identifying potential issues and addressing them promptly, the technician helps extend the lifespan of equipment and supports operational continuity. Ultimately, this role contributes to creating a safe, reliable, and well-maintained environment that supports the overall success of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role involving mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, HVAC, or related fields.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in facility maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic welding or carpentry skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including HVAC systems, machinery, and building infrastructure components.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory to support efficient workflow and compliance.
  • Collaborate with facility management and external vendors to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and compliance with safety regulations.
