Software Engineer, AI Platform — New York, NY (5 days Onsite)

Our client, a growing investment firm, is looking for a Software Engineer to help build the AI systems powering their investment process.
\n
\n
You'll own production systems end-to-end: agent harnesses, provenance tracking so investment teams can verify AI output against source docs, and tool integrations — working directly with investment, IR, and ops teams to turn their workflows into reliable software.

\n
What we're looking for:
\n
🔹 3-5 years of software engineering experience (Python, TypeScript/JS, Rust, or Go)
\n
🔹 Hands-on with LLM app patterns — agents, RAG, vector search, evals
\n
🔹 Fluent with AI-assisted dev tools (Claude Code, Cursor) as a primary workflow
\n
🔹 A track record of independently shipping production software
\n
🔹 Bonus: experience in financial services or other compliance-sensitive, document-heavy domains
