Local Foundry has an opportunity for you to learn a trade.
These employees would:
•Start out as cleaners/laborers on 1st shift (Mon-Thurs 6am-4pm) $18, for 2-4 weeks
oduring this time, we would assess their skills and commitment to the job (aiming for 0 attendance occurrences and ability to follow direction, as well as having some skills)
•If they do well, after 30 days (if not sooner), they can be moved to an entry level position in the foundry or machine shop (CNC or assembly).
oAt that point, their pay would be adjusted - $22.50 for foundry, $20 for machining or assembly.
- The intent is to hire these candidates after 90 days, so we don’t want to waste time on anyone who isn’t ready to commit to a long-term position.
