Job DescriptionMAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM$18.38 - $19.85 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform routine and preventative maintenance to keep equipment and facilities operating efficiently
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment
Repair or replace components including gears, shafts, belts, and pulleys
Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner
Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance inspections to improve equipment performance
Rebuild and overhaul machinery following manufacturer specifications
Use manuals, schematics, and technical guides to support repairs and modifications
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in the system
Monitor and manage inventory of parts and maintenance supplies
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in a clean work environment
Provide guidance and support to junior technicians as needed
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED required
2–5 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to use hand tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment
Basic knowledge of PLCs and automated/robotic systems
Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment repairs independently
Familiarity with OSHA standards (LOTO, Arc Flash, working at heights)
Ability to operate or willingness to learn powered equipment (forklifts, hoists, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Reliable, adaptable, and self-motivated
