Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex midstream EPC/EPCM projects for owner-operator clients across the United States. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and contractual requirements.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience managing pipeline, gas processing, compression, terminal, and related energy infrastructure projects. They will work closely with engineering, project controls, procurement, and construction teams to successfully execute projects while supporting business development efforts and maintaining strong client relationships.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & Execution

  • Lead the execution of midstream EPC/EPCM projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop project execution plans, staffing plans, schedules, and project controls strategies.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, and construction teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Manage project change, scope growth, contract compliance, and commercial impacts.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Lead project reviews and ensure effective communication of project status, risks, and opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships that support successful project delivery and repeat business.
  • Facilitate client meetings, project updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support negotiations related to project scope, schedule, and commercial matters.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing practical solutions that align with client objectives.

Business Development Support

  • Support proposal development, project estimates, execution planning, and project scoping activities.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services within existing client accounts.
  • Participate in client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
  • Collaborate with Lauren's business development and leadership teams to support growth initiatives.

Communication & Coordination

  • Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaboration between engineering disciplines, project controls, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Escalate project risks, issues, and resource constraints as required.
  • Prepare and deliver project reports, presentations, and status updates.

QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of project management experience within the energy, midstream, or industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience managing EPC or EPCM projects.
  • Experience managing projects involving pipelines, gas processing facilities, compression stations, terminals, or related energy infrastructure.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset.
  • Professional Engineering (P.Eng. or PE) designation is considered an asset.

Skills

  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and project risk.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of EPC/EPCM project delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project controls, scheduling, cost management, and change management practices.

Abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and maintain stakeholder alignment.
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver complex projects from initiation through completion.


Additional Information

  • This role is based in Houston, Texas.
  • Hybrid work arrangements available.
  • Travel to client sites and Lauren offices will be required as project demands dictate.
