Overview

CTG is seeking a Manufacturing Application Support consultant to work on a long term project for our long time client. This is a hybrid job working 4 days per week / 8 hours per day with a total of 32 hours.

Location: Addyston, Ohio (Hybrid)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Application Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves a combination of IT support, programming, and database management, with a strong focus on automating manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VBScript, SQL databases, and label software like Bartender and Zebra.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain VBScript applications to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
Create batch (.bat) files.
Perform SQL database management and maintenance.
Experience with SQL and Microsoft Access for database cleanup
Program and troubleshoot Bartender and Zebra label printing systems.
Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure system reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience with VBScript for automation tasks.
Proficiency in SQL for database management and maintenance.
Familiarity with Microsoft Access for database operations.
Experience with Bartender and Zebra label software.
Ability to create and maintain batch (.bat) files for task automation.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Hybrid work arrangement with on-site and remote flexibility.
