Role Description The Solar Project Coordinator is a full-time, clerical on site role based in Round Rock, TX. This role oversees residential solar and energy-efficiency projects from initial customer onboarding through installation and closeout. Day-to-day tasks include managing project timelines, coordinating with sales, design, and applying for permits and HOA and utility interconnection applications and serving as a primary point of contact for customers. The coordinator tracks permits, inspections, utility interconnection, and equipment deliveries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards. The role also involves updating project records in internal systems, resolving issues that arise during installations, and supporting continuous process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

  • Project coordination and organizational skills, including scheduling, task tracking, and deadline management.

  • Customer service and communication skills to clearly explain project steps, manage expectations, and maintain positive relationships.

  • Basic understanding of solar energy systems or construction processes, with the ability to interpret project plans and permits.
  • \n

  • Proficiency with office and project management software (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM or project tracking tools).
  • \n

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify issues early and coordinate timely solutions.
  • \n

  • Ability to work on-site in Round Rock, TX, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • \n

  • Previous experience in residential solar.
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in project management or renewable energy are a plus.
