Job Description

Role: Oracle RMCS Functional Consultant

\n

This role requires the consultant to work in the USA or Canada.

\n

\n

The consultant will be responsible for:

\n

\n
• Validating revenue contracts and performance obligations.

\n

• Monitoring RMCS interfaces and data loads from source systems such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, CPQ, and other integrated applications.

\n

• Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring system and process issues.

\n

• Monitoring contract identification and contract modification processing.

\n

• Troubleshooting revenue recognition issues and ensuring timely resolution.

\n

• Analyzing revenue accounting entries and reconciliation-related issues.

\n

• Reviewing business requirements and assessing functional and technical impacts.

\n

• Preparing functional specifications for system enhancements and change requests.

\n

• Conducting gap analysis and recommending appropriate business solutions.

\n

• Generating revenue reports, dashboards, and management insights.

\n

• Supporting internal and external audit requests by providing required documentation and analysis.

\n

Required Skills

\n

\n
• Strong experience in Oracle RMCS (Revenue Management Cloud Service).

\n

• Good understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles.

\n

• Experience integrating RMCS with Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, CPQ, and related source systems.

\n

• Expertise in revenue accounting, reconciliations, and troubleshooting revenue recognition processes.

\n

• Ability to prepare functional specifications and perform business analysis activities.

\n

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

\n
