Maintenance Technician
Seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This hands-on role focuses on minimizing equipment downtime, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting equipment repairs and installations.
Requirements of the Maintenance Technician
- 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Experience with conveyors, chain drives, belts, pulleys, pumps, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Basic welding, fabrication, machining, and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read mechanical prints, schematics, and equipment drawings
- Familiarity with industrial facility systems and maintenance tools
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and attend training as needed
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
- Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Repair leaks involving air, water, glue, oil, and steam
- Maintain and repair conveyor systems, drives, pumps, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Fabricate and repair parts using welding, machining, and fastening techniques
- Read and interpret mechanical prints and schematics
- Assist with equipment installations, assembly, rigging, and maintenance projects
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting
- Maintain tools and equipment and keep work areas organized
- Follow all facility safety, GMP, and food safety procedures
2nd shift: 12:00PM - 10:00PM Monday through Friday, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $38.00 - $43.00 hourly, willing to pay more based on experience
