Senior GitHub Developer SME - Migration to GitHub Actions

Are you the person teams call when a GitHub Actions pipeline breaks? We're looking for a hands-on senior developer to own how our teams build, test, secure, and ship code on GitHub. This will be a long-term contract role. Position can be hybrid with the work location being Charlotte, NC. If able to be onsite every so often that can work.
\n
\n
What you'll do:
\n
• Design and maintain complex, reusable CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions
\n
• Build multi-stage pipelines: builds, automated testing, deployments, approvals and environment-specific configs
\n
• Set GitHub engineering standards for branching, pull requests, branch protection and release management
\n
• Build security into the pipeline with code scanning, secret scanning, Dependabot and OIDC
\n
• Troubleshoot and speed up pipelines across teams
\n
• Coach developers on CI/CD automation and DevSecOps best practices
\n
\n
What you bring:
\n
• [7+] years in development, DevOps or platform engineering, with deep GitHub experience
\n
• Proven experience with reusable GitHub Actions workflows in production
\n
• Strong Git, YAML and scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell or Python)
\n
• Experience with APIs, containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and AWS, Azure or GCP
\n
• Clear communicator who can set standards and win buy-in
\n
\n
Nice to have:
\n
• GitHub Enterprise admin, GitHub Advanced Security, GitHub certifications, Terraform, and migrations from Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitLab.
\n
\n
Details:
\n
• Must be authorized to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship
\n
• Interview with be 3 rounds with an onsite interview required
\n
• Position can be hybrid with the work location being Charlotte, NC. If able to be onsite every so often that can work.
