Location: Onsite (Office-based in Spring, TX with local client travel / Remote client support)

Position Type: Full-Time (Near Entry-Level)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

\n

Pay: $20 - $25/hr (depending on experience)

About the Role

\n

We are looking for a motivated, team-oriented, and self-driven IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for client technical issues, handling support requests both remotely from our office and on-site at client locations.

\n

This position is ideal for someone starting out who is eager to learn and grow within our organization. You will gain hands-on experience across general IT tasks as well as specialized industry systems, including dental practice software.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

• Tier 1 Support & Alerts: Monitor, triage, and resolve incoming helpdesk tickets, system alerts, and client service requests.

\n

• Client Interface: Communicate clearly and professionally with clients while troubleshooting technical issues.

\n

• On-Site Support & Travel: Assist with hardware, software, and basic equipment installations at client sites (approximately 10–15% local travel).

\n

• Software Support: Learn and support dental-specific software applications alongside standard desktop issues.

\n

• Team Collaboration: Work alongside team members to resolve issues and escalate complex tickets when necessary.

\n

Qualifications & Requirements

\n

Required:

\n

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

\n

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local client visits (10–15% travel).

\n

• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy IT equipment up to 50 lbs (such as servers, UPS battery backups, and desktop towers), as well as perform physical tasks like crawling under desks for cable management.

\n

• Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn.

\n

Preferred:

\n

• 1–2 years of experience in IT support or customer service.

\n

• Degree or current IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+).

\n

• Basic familiarity with computer hardware, operating systems, servers, or networking.

\n

• Prior experience with dental or medical software is a bonus, but not required.
