Our Client is Looking an experienced Senior Applications Analyst – Oracle HCM to lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Oracle Fusion HCM (Hire-to-Retire) solutions across the enterprise. This role serves as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle HCM, partnering with business stakeholders, system integrators, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and business-aligned solutions that support Ventura Foods' digital transformation strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion HCM Solution Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion HCM initiatives, including:
- Requirements gathering
- Fit-gap analysis
- Solution design
- Configuration
- Testing and validation
- Cutover planning
- Go-live support
- Post-implementation optimization
- Design and implement scalable HCM solutions aligned with business objectives and Oracle best practices.
- Act as the primary functional and technical SME for Oracle HCM modules and related custom applications.
Business Process & Functional Design
- Define and optimize Hire-to-Retire (H2R) business processes across the organization.
- Analyze current business workflows and recommend process improvements using standard Oracle functionality wherever possible.
- Design and govern cross-functional integrations involving HCM and related business tracks, including:
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Source-to-Pay (S2P)
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Establish standards for solution architecture, design documentation, and system configurations.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Partner closely with HR leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into system solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, discovery sessions, and requirements-gathering activities.
- Collaborate with System Integration (SI) partners and consulting teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Drive stakeholder alignment and consensus throughout the project lifecycle.
Configuration & System Administration
- Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion HCM modules and solutions, including:
- Recruiting & Onboarding
- Workforce Management
- Compensation & Benefits
- Talent & Performance Management
- Employee Self-Service
- Retirement & Separation
- Manage platform configurations such as:
- Value Sets
- Flexfields
- Workflows
- Profiles
- Security Groups
- Business Units
- Legal Entities
- Compensation Structures
- Workforce Structures
- Integrations and Setups
Documentation, Governance & Compliance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project and system documentation, including:
- Requirement documents
- Solution designs
- Process flows
- Configuration documents
- Testing scripts
- Training materials
- User stories
- Ensure compliance with SDLC, Agile, and governance frameworks.
- Support data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Platform Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor system performance, stability, and user experience.
- Manage issue resolution, enhancements, and operational support activities.
- Evaluate Oracle quarterly releases and updates, ensuring timely adoption of new functionality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize platform value and business efficiency.
- Maintain application scalability and long-term platform sustainability.
Reporting, Data & Integration Management
- Support HCM reporting and analytics capabilities using:
- OTBI
- BI Publisher
- Oracle Reporting Tools
- Assist in data conversion, migration, mapping, and transformation activities.
- Support integration development and enhancements between Oracle Fusion and external applications.
- Provide expertise on legacy Oracle EBS and non-Oracle system migrations.
What We're Looking For
Oracle HCM Expertise
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Strong understanding of Hire-to-Retire (H2R) business processes.
- Experience implementing Oracle Fusion HCM solutions from initial design through post-production support.
- Ability to build Oracle HCM solutions from the ground up.
Technical Skills
- Experience with:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM
- Oracle EBS R12 (if Fusion experience is limited)
- OTBI
- BI Publisher
- FBDI
- PL/SQL
- VBCS
- Postman
- Redwood UI
- Knowledge of integrations, APIs, data migration, and system architecture principles.
Project Delivery & Methodologies
- Strong experience with:
- Agile
- SAFe
- SDLC
- OUM
- AIM
- Expertise using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Proven ability to lead full lifecycle ERP implementations.
Leadership & Communication
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to influence business and technical teams without direct authority.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proven experience leading workshops, managing vendor relationships, and driving successful outcomes.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Oracle ERP implementation and support experience.
- Experience with at least two Oracle HCM implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of enterprise business processes and cross-functional integrations.
Preferred
- 3+ years of Oracle Fusion HCM experience.
- Experience within manufacturing environments.
- Participation in at least three full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Certification.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud platform innovations and modernization initiatives.
