The Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Deployment) is responsible for leading the deployment, implementation, and onboarding of FSAI’s enterprise AI workflow orchestration platform into customer environments. This role partners directly with customer infrastructure and security teams to deploy, configure, secure, and validate cloud-native Kubernetes platforms while ensuring production readiness, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate has deep experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, cloud platforms, automation, security, and observability. This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role focused on delivering secure, repeatable, and highly automated enterprise deployments while continuously improving deployment processes and operational tooling.

Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end deployments of the AI platform into customer Kubernetes environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
* Provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent) and GitOps deployment methodologies.
* Configure Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, networking, RBAC, autoscaling, and security controls.
* Integrate customer identity providers, secrets management platforms, networking, and managed data services.
* Implement and validate multi-tenant architecture, network policies, and production security standards.
* Deploy and configure observability solutions including metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
* Perform production readiness assessments, performance testing, failover validation, and disaster recovery testing.
* Support production cutovers and provide post-deployment hypercare.
* Develop deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and customer handoff materials.
* Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and Kubernetes issues.
* Continuously improve deployment automation, tooling, and implementation processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
* Collaborate closely with customer infrastructure, operations, and security teams throughout deployment engagements.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* 5+ years of Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
* Extensive production experience administering Kubernetes environments including EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift, Rancher, or similar platforms.
* Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent tools.
* Experience with Helm, Kustomize, GitOps, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
* Strong scripting and automation experience using Bash, Python, Go, or similar languages.
* Deep understanding of Kubernetes networking, RBAC, namespaces, autoscaling, resource management, and security policies.
* Experience configuring ingress controllers, load balancing, TLS certificates, DNS, VPNs, and private networking.
* Experience integrating enterprise identity solutions including OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
* Experience with secrets management platforms and Kubernetes-native secret delivery.
* Strong knowledge of cloud security, policy enforcement, least privilege access, and mTLS.
* Experience administering PostgreSQL (or equivalent relational databases), backup strategies, high availability, and object storage solutions.
* Experience implementing monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, dashboards, and alerting using modern observability platforms.
* Experience defining Service Level Objectives (SLOs), incident response procedures, and operational runbooks.
* Working knowledge of Go and Python for troubleshooting and platform support.
* Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create technical documentation and operational procedures.
* Strong customer-facing communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to manage multiple deployment engagements while maintaining high quality and meeting delivery deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience deploying enterprise platforms within regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or government.
* Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, or similar compliance frameworks.
* Experience with air-gapped, sovereign cloud, or highly secure deployment environments.
* Experience operating service meshes and durable workflow platforms.
* Experience with chaos engineering and resilience testing.
* Experience supporting AI, machine learning, LLM, or agentic AI platforms.
* Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, or Terraform) are a plus.
