Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Position Type / Location / Compensation

· - Full Time

· - Location: Lebanon County, PA

· - Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hours (Depending on experience)

Position Overview

· - The Lebanon County Housing and Redevelopment Authority is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and repair of housing units, buildings, and grounds.

· - This role plays a key role in ensuring that all properties are maintained in a safe, sanitary, and presentable condition for residents and the public.

Key Responsibilities

· - Perform maintenance and repairs in areas including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

· - Respond to work orders and emergency services calls in a timely and professional manner.

· - Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

· - Prepare units for occupancy, including cleaning, painting, and necessary repairs.

· - Maintain common areas and grounds, including snow removal, landscaping, and trash pickup.

· - Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles according to safety standards.

· - Collaborate with property managers and other staff to coordinate maintenance activities.

· - Maintain accurate records of completed work and inventory used.

· - Follow all safety policies and procedures and repot unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

· - High school diploma or equivalent.

· - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance or skilled trades.

· - Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.

· - Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

· - Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical labor including climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

· - Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· - Strong organizational skills and communication skills.

· - Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
