Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React/Angular, Kafka, and MongoDB, with a passion for developing robust backend services and modern user interfaces. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and business-critical applications.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Iselin, NJ is $100k - $110k/year & benefits (see below).

Key Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React or Angular.
- Build, enhance, and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
- Design and optimize database solutions using MongoDB, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities.
- Support CI/CD deployments and contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure application security, reliability, and adherence to best development practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
\n

- Strong hands-on experience with Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack application development using Java technologies.
- Proficiency in front-end development using React or Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Experience working with Apache Kafka for event-driven and messaging solutions.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, distributed systems, and modern application architectures.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, monitoring tools, and application modernization initiatives.
- Experience with Redis for caching and application performance optimization.

- Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services domains.
