Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in a plant or industrial environment
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in maintaining and repairing heavy industrial equipment
• Basic electrical knowledge, including troubleshooting motors, switches, and control panels
• Familiarity with MSHA safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, and other quarry equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with plant machinery and systems
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures or safety hazards
• Weld, fabricate, and make structural repairs to equipment and plant components
• Respond to emergency breakdowns quickly to minimize production downtime
