Waldvogel Commercial Properties is seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Technician to service a portfolio of commercial and residential properties throughout Roanoke, Salem, and Vinton. This position is ideal for a dependable, self-directed technician who can work independently, solve problems efficiently, and represent our company professionally with tenants and vendors.

Schedule & Work Environment

· Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with participation in on-call rotation (approximately one week every 3–4 weeks)

· Company vehicle provided for work use

· All tools, equipment, and supplies provided

What You’ll Do

· Perform maintenance and repairs across multiple properties

· Light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs

· General handyman work (drywall, painting, fixtures, minor installations)

· Troubleshoot issues and complete work orders efficiently

· Communicate professionally with tenants, property managers, and vendors

· Use mobile technology to receive assignments and document work

· Support preventative maintenance to protect property value

What We’re Looking For

· Proven maintenance or handyman experience

· Ability to work independently without supervision

· Strong troubleshooting and time-management skills

· Professional communication skills

· Comfortable using smartphones/apps for work orders

· Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (required)

Preferred Experience

· Property management maintenance

· HVAC experience or certification

· Knowledge of building systems
