Job Description

The Role
We're looking for a Site Engineering Supervisor to lead our team of about 10 on-campus site engineers. You'll keep the team scheduled and covered, serve as the escalation point for technical issues across the devices, networks and systems we support, and act as a trusted, professional point of contact for our school partners. You'll split your time between remote work and visits to campuses across the region.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the schedules of about 10 site engineers across multiple K-12 campuses
  • Arrange coverage for vacations, sick days and unexpected absences so every school stays supported
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues involving end-user devices, networks and campus systems
  • Step in on-site as needed to troubleshoot, resolve issues or fill coverage gaps
  • Build strong relationships with school leaders, administrators and staff, and represent Alerio professionally
  • Coach and mentor site engineers on technical skills and customer service
  • Track recurring issues and recommend improvements to processes, documentation and service quality

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support or systems/network administration, with 1+ years leading or supervising a technical team
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and/or macOS, Chromebooks, iPads, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and LAN/Wi-Fi networking
  • Experience coordinating schedules and coverage for a distributed team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences
  • A polished, professional presence and a customer-first mindset
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between Front Range campuses
  • Ability to pass a background check, as required for working in K-12 schools

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting K-12 or education environments
  • Familiarity with MDM tools (e.g., Jamf, Google Admin Console), ticketing systems and classroom AV
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, CCNA or Microsoft/Google admin credentials

Why Join Us

  • Meaningful work supporting students and educators in our community
  • Hybrid schedule with a mix of remote and on-site work
