Seasonal Position – Pistachio Harvest Season
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and organized Maintenance Parts Coordinator to support our maintenance team during the busy pistachio harvest season in Wasco, CA. This position will be responsible for assisting with inventory management, organizing maintenance parts, and helping ensure technicians have the necessary tools and materials to keep equipment operating efficiently in a fast-paced food processing environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize maintenance parts inventory, supplies, and equipment.
- Receive, label, store, and distribute parts as needed.
- Assist maintenance technicians by preparing parts and materials for repairs.
- Track inventory levels and communicate when parts need to be reordered.
- Maintain accurate records of parts usage and inventory movement.
- Help keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with locating parts, tools, and equipment needed for repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Follow all food safety, GMP, OSHA, and company safety guidelines.
- Support the maintenance team with additional tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance, parts coordination, inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical parts, tools, or equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced food processing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and willing to learn.
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed during the harvest season.
