Apartment Maintenance Technician
Albany, NY
$20–$23 per hour DOE
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Career Strategies is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Albany, NY. If you have apartment maintenance experience and enjoy solving problems while keeping a community running smoothly, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities include:
- Complete maintenance work orders
- Perform apartment make-readies and unit turns
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC systems
- Complete painting, drywall, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
- Perform basic appliance repairs
- Replace blinds, screens, locks, and other fixtures
- Assist with groundskeeping and property upkeep as needed
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents and property staff
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, carpentry, and basic HVAC
- Appliance repair experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors and outdoors
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and dependable attendance
