Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Houston, TX 77293
Salary: $25 - $28/hour
Founded in 1999, this organization is a leading manufacturer of custom wooden pallets, industrial packaging solutions, and engineered wood components used across logistics, transportation, and industrial supply chains. Operating from a highly automated facility in Houston, the team produces high-volume, precision-engineered pallets, crates, and industrial products that move goods across industries nationwide. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician looking for an opportunity to work on automated saw lines, conveyors, and production equipment in a stable, growing environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed production equipment including conveyors and automated systems
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance using CMMS to reduce downtime
- Support automation systems including PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics
- Fabricate and modify parts, fixtures, and equipment to improve performance and uptime
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including tools and parts inventory
What You Need for This Position
- 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment
- Basic PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Welding and fabrication experience
