Job Title: Field Network Test Engineer / Technician

Job Description
We are seeking Field Network Test Engineers/Technicians for a 2-month project in the Dallas market beginning mid-July. This is a hands-on field role focused on validating cellular-to-Wi-Fi handover performance in malls and surrounding public locations using customer-provided devices and testing tools.
The customer will provide all required training, test locations, mobile devices, SIM cards, testing configurations, and ACE testing tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform walk-testing in malls and nearby public locations.
- Execute voice, data, Wi-Fi auto-connect, throughput, and data offloading test scenarios.
- Validate seamless cellular-to-Wi-Fi handover performance.
- Collect and upload test logs using customer-provided tools.
- Document observations, issues, and test results accurately.
- Troubleshoot basic mobile device and connectivity issues during testing.
- Submit daily testing reports and maintain complete test documentation.
- Follow customer-defined testing procedures and schedules.
Required Skills
- Experience with field network testing, wireless testing, or telecom testing.
- Basic understanding of cellular networks, Wi-Fi connectivity, and mobile devices.
- Comfortable working outdoors and walking for extended periods during testing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured test procedures.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic device and connectivity issues.
- Must be reliable and able to work independently in the field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with drive testing or walk testing.
- Familiarity with LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, and network performance testing.
- Experience using mobile network testing tools (ACE or similar) is a plus.
