Job DescriptionNOW HIRING: PHYSICAL SECURITY DESIGN SPECIALIST Parkersburg, WV Area | Office/Hybrid $50,000$60,000/year, based on experience Full-Time | SalariedParkersburg Mancan is partnering with a local company seeking a Physical Security Design Specialist to develop detailed, installation-ready security system designs. RESPONSIBILITIESDesign access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and low-voltage systemsCreate floor plans, device layouts, riser diagrams, and design documentationDevelop BOMs, equipment schedules, and product specificationsReview site surveys and architectural/construction drawingsSupport estimating, sales, project management, and field teamsPrepare permits, submittals, and as-built drawingsEnsure designs meet applicable NEC, NFPA, ADA, and local code requirements REQUIREMENTS35 years of experience in physical security, low-voltage, system design, or draftingKnowledge of access control, surveillance, intrusion, and low-voltage systemsExperience with design/site-survey software; System Surveyor preferredAbility to read architectural and construction drawingsUnderstanding of NEC, NFPA, ADA, and applicable codesKnowledge of IP networking as it relates to security systemsStrong attention to detail, organization, and communication skillsValid driver's license for occasional site visitsPreferred: Engineering/design certification or degree, NICET or manufacturer certifications, PSP certification, low-voltage/alarm license, and security integration experience.
