Now Hiring: Project Executive
Location: Sacramento, CA | On-Site
Compensation: $160,000-$200,000 DOE + Annual Bonus
We are seeking a seasoned Project Executive to join a dynamic mechanical construction team in the Sacramento area. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to spearhead the execution of a broad project portfolio, fostering growth and profitability within the mechanical division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management and execution of complex mechanical construction projects from initial planning through to completion.
- Direct project planning, staffing, mobilization, site evaluations, and project closeouts, ensuring excellence in delivery.
- Manage financial aspects including revenue, cost, labor productivity, and gross-margin performance for assigned projects.
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers, building a robust leadership pipeline.
- Review contracts, assess risks, lead negotiations, and manage change and dispute resolution strategies.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships, supporting proposal development and business retention efforts.
- Enhance project management processes by standardizing practices and optimizing forecasting, scheduling, and cost controls.
- Collaborate with divisional leadership to align growth strategies, market positioning, and client engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with a preference for mechanical construction expertise.
- Proven track record in leading multiple Project Managers and overseeing extensive project portfolios.
- Strong skills in financial management including forecasting, cost control, and margin management.
- Experience with complex commercial, industrial, healthcare, life-science, technology, or mission-critical projects.
- Exceptional skills in contract management, risk assessment, change management, and client relationship building.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and enhance overall team performance.
- Ability to thrive in an on-site, collaborative, team-first construction environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary ranging from $160,000 to $200,000 DOE
