GENERAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Grand Home Furnishings is hiring a General Property Maintenance Technician to keep our stores, warehouses, and corporate office in excellent condition across Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, reliable individual who takes pride in keeping properties safe, clean, and well-maintained.

We're looking for someone who wants to be part of that tradition and grow a long-term career with us. Travel between locations is required, and a company vehicle is provided.
What You'll Do
As a General Property Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep our properties running smoothly day to day. You'll:
• Perform general maintenance efficiently across various Grand properties as assigned
• Safely operate and maintain a company truck in compliance with DOT and state regulations
• Handle general building maintenance, including HVAC filters and coils, light bulbs, LED retrofits, and switches and receptacles
• Safely operate a scissor lift, ladders, and other power equipment as needed indoors and on the grounds
• Maintain grounds, parking lots, and landscaping as needed and assigned, including mowing, trimming, and bush hogging
• Operate snow removal equipment as needed and assigned
• Deliver excellent, professional service at every location you visit
What We're Looking For
We care about your reliability, hands-on skills, and ability to represent our company professionally at every property you visit.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license with a qualifying DMV report required; must maintain DOT driver file qualifications
• Experience with lawn and property maintenance equipment preferred
• Good communication skills required
• Ability to stand for multiple hours and lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Comfortable operating a scissor lift, lawn mowers, trimmers, bush hog, tractors, and snow blades
• Schedule varies based on travel, seasonal demands, and maintenance needs across all Grand properties; overtime as needed
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
