Data Center Technician – $40+/Hour
Location: Santa Teresa, New Mexico
Pay: Starting at $40/hour, goes up based on experience / certifications
Outsource is hiring experienced Data Center Technicians for a major project in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. We’re looking for dependable people who know cabling, take pride in clean installations, and can keep up on a busy job site.
Responsibilities
- Install, route, dress, and label copper and fiber optic cabling.
- Install racks, cabinets, ladder racks, and cable tray systems.
- Terminate Cat5e/Cat6 cabling and install patch panels.
- Assist with fiber installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Read prints and cable schedules to complete installations correctly.
- Follow site safety requirements and maintain an organized work area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in data centers, structured cabling, telecommunications, or commercial low voltage.
- Experience working with copper and fiber cabling.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and cable testing equipment.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Able to work on ladders, lifts, and around an active construction site.
- Available to work in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
Starting pay is $40/hour, with higher rates considered for strong experience.
