Workday HCM Solution Architect

We are hiring a hands-on Workday Solution Architect to own platform design as the organization grows. This person sets design direction across HCM modules, leads priority projects from requirements through go-live, and makes sure the tenant is built to scale.

What you'll do
\n
- Own Workday solution design across modules, with a focus on scalability and maintainability
\n
- Lead select projects end to end, such as performance cycle rollouts and Advanced Compensation builds, covering design, configuration, testing, and deployment
\n
- Guide integration design (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio) in partnership with IT
\n
- Set and document standards for configuration, security, and design decisions
\n
- Review Workday releases and new functionality, including AI features, and recommend what to adopt
\n
- Advise HR, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, and Benefits leaders, and mentor the HRIS analyst team
\n
- Simplify existing configuration and reduce technical debt
\n
\n
What you'll bring
\n
- 6+ years of Workday experience with hands-on configuration across multiple HCM modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Talent and Performance, Absence, Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll)
\n
- A track record of architecting or redesigning Workday for scale, beyond maintaining what exists
\n
- Experience leading full-lifecycle Workday projects or workstreams
\n
- Strong knowledge of reporting, calculated fields, security, and the business process framework
\n
- Working knowledge of EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio
\n
- Workday certifications (functional or technical)
\n
- Consulting or implementation partner background strongly preferred
\n
- Ability to explain design decisions to non-technical stakeholders
\n
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
