Job Description
SENIOR AI PRODUCT ENGINEER – AGENTIC SYSTEMS & PRODUCTION AI
BAY AREA (HYBRID / 3 DAYS IN OFFICE)
$160,000 – $225,900 (SENIOR) | $190,000 – $250,000 (SENIOR II) + EQUITY
The Opportunity
Join a high-growth team building production, autonomous AI systems for enterprise use.
This isn’t experimental AI—you’ll create real agentic products that take action, drive outcomes, and automate complex workflows end-to-end.
You’ll operate in a 0→1 environment with full ownership, shaping product direction, system architecture, and customer experience.
What You’ll Do
- Build AI agents that act autonomously across real workflows
- Develop end-to-end systems across LLMs, APIs, orchestration, and applications
- Own the full lifecycle: prompting, evaluation, debugging, and scaling
- Turn ambiguous problems into structured, production-ready solutions
- Partner with product to deliver outcomes, not just features
- Help define shared AI platform architecture
- Continuously improve systems through testing and iteration
What We’re Looking For
- 4–8 years as a backend or full-stack engineer
- Experience shipping production AI or agent-based systems
- Strong Python or TypeScript skills
- Hands-on experience with LLMs in real products
- Solid foundation in system design and distributed systems
- Experience evaluating and improving AI performance
- High ownership mindset in fast-moving environments
- Ability to clearly explain technical decisions and tradeoffs
Nice to Have
- RAG experience
- LangChain, LangGraph, Bedrock, or similar tools
- Startup or 0→1 product experience
- Agent workflows or orchestration systems
- LLMOps or AI infrastructure experience
Why This Role
- Build real AI products, not prototypes
- Work on systems that take action and deliver outcomes
- High ownership from idea → scale
- Fast-paced, high-impact environment
- Direct influence on AI strategy and architecture
- Strong team + meaningful equity
If you’re excited about building AI that actually does things—not just talks about them, this is a rare opportunity to shape the future of how enterprise systems operate.
