BIT is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support enterprise data and analytics initiatives for a federal client, leveraging expertise in AI/ML development, advanced analytics, and automation to deliver mission-focused, scalable, and secure solutions. The role involves providing technical leadership, developing predictive and prescriptive models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align analytics capabilities with enterprise objectives. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, modern AI/ML frameworks, and RPA tools is required.

Responsibilities

- Provide technical leadership in analytics and AI/ML solutions
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics
- Use Python, Anaconda, and Jupyter notebooks for modeling and prototyping
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate model switch data pipelines
- Support data governance activities (tagging, metadata management and secure sharing)
- Develop RPA solutions to automate business processes
- Evaluate and recommend analytics products to ensure mission alignment
- Communicate findings through dashboards, visualizations, and technical reports

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Active Secret Clearance (required).
- Bachelors in data science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field\
- 4+ years of professional experience in Data Science and AI/ML
- Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch,Scikit-learn)
- Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Python-based)
- Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
