Job DescriptionHours:Monday-Thursday 6:00am-2:45pm and Fridays 6:00am-12:00pmJob Summary:The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Responsibilities:Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical machinery and equipment as neededAbility to safely service and troubleshoot electrical components (110v-480v)Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, grounds, and facilitiesMaintain an organized, clean and safe work areaEnsure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities are performed in a neat, orderly, and timely mannerEnsure equipment and company assets are operating in a safe manner, per manufacturer and other governing body guidelines Comply with all standard safety practices, safety guidelines, and all Company guidelines and policiesIdentify and communicate all issues and/or problems in a proactive mannerClean and assist with upkeep of the facilities, including seasonal grounds maintenance, painting, cleaning, and carpentry workPerforms routine maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.Additional duties as assignedJob Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required Associates degree (AA) from two-year program or at least 5 years of relevant experience Knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairAny relevant technical certifications are a plusAbility to use and safely operate hand tools, power tools, fork lifts, scissor lifts, etc.Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings)Experience with basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays, installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting)Ability to utilize schematics (e.g., electrical blueprints with switches, starts, maps, relays)Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyExcellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a small teamPunctuality and a positive attitude are mandatory
