Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deliver secure, scalable, high-quality production applications in an Agile environment.
• Build modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using JavaScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Develop and integrate backend services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Build and maintain event-driven applications using Apache Kafka, including producers and consumers.
• Develop, deploy, and support applications and infrastructure within AWS.
• Participate in application design, development, testing, code reviews, debugging, and production support.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, operations, and other technology teams to deliver business solutions.
• Contribute to system design discussions and identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support observability, monitoring, incident triage, and production stability using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies to improve development productivity and code quality.
• Follow established engineering standards, SDLC practices, security guidelines, and coding best practices.
• Take ownership of assigned development tasks from requirements through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Contribute to SEO/search optimization and modern web experiences where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, formal training, or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and JavaScript.
• Experience with Next.js is highly preferred.
• Strong experience with Node.js and RESTful services.
• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing microservices-based applications.
• Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services.
• Hands-on experience with Apache
